We have a fantastic leadership opportunity within our Asset Management Team based at Ilford depot as a Depot Facilities Team Member serving several locations of the network including Clacton-on-sea, Colchester, Southend and Orient Way .  

The Role 

As a member of the Depot Facilities Team, you will carry out activities assigned by the Depot Facilities Team Manager within established timeframes and in compliance with accepted standards, which may include Depot vegetation removal and general labouring tasks.

You will be responsible for assuring assistance with general depot cleaning, such as drain maintenance, including CWM gullies, and toilet and CET plant unclogging. PAT (portable appliance) testing and assisting the teams technicians in carrying out planned maintenance on various systems and equipment.

 In addition, you'll be in charge of performing any necessary painting, decorating at all Facilities, as well as repairing depot signage and fabric. Plumbing, carpentry, metal working skills are advantageous.

We're seeking for a someone with a positive attitude, professionalism, and friendliness. The ideal candidate will be familiar with line standards, current statutory law, and requirements for rail safety as well as the rail industry. 

To be able to travel to the various sites, you must have a personal mode of transportation.
