If this is you, then why not apply to come and join us at Abellio London Bus as a Learning & Development Administrator on a 9 month fixed term contract covering a period of maternity leave.

Abellio London Bus operates bus services across London on behalf of TFL, plus rail replacement and event services across the UK. We operate over nine per cent of the London’s bus network, running 800 vehicles and employing around 2,700 employees across six depots in Central, South and West London. We run a number of routes, carrying over 150 million passengers a year on TfL’s contracted bus network.

Duties include:

  • Training administration for CPC, City & Guilds and TfL sponsored training to include uploading, recording and auditing on various platforms to ensure compliance with guidelines and accreditation.
  • To collate statistics for monthly reports for submission to the Management team and/or Leadership team.
  • To setup and uploaded trainees onto various HR systems/platforms in a timely manner.  
  • Monitor and maintain Learning & Development email inbox, responding to queries or forwarding to the relevant personnel for action.
  • Maintaining the Kallidus Learning Management System to include adding starters, removing leavers assigning courses, building reports and updating and transferring the data file.
  • To support the apprentice coordinator with programme elements including providing cover for absence and holiday.
  • General administration duties including photocopying, scanning staff files, opening, recording and distributing post, filing, archiving, booking meeting rooms, ordering stationery, raising purchase orders and minute-taking as required.

All candidates must have:

  • Essential – Have previous administration experience, preferably in an HR/Learning & Development department. 
  • Essential - Have effective communications skills, including written, verbal and presentational skills.
  • Essential - Have strong IT skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Essential - Have a flexible approach and be prepared to work outside normal hours and across all sites if required, to meet deadlines.
  • Desirable - Previous experience working with a Learning Management System.
  • Desirable - Previous experience designing and or delivering training.
