We have a fantastic opportunity for a Competency Trainer & Assessor to join our team at Harlow Town.
The Role
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a colleague who is passionate about Train Dispatch, assessing, and mentoring colleagues.
This role will be pivotal to ensure that quality and timely completion of mentoring new starters, briefing colleagues and assessing colleagues in relation to train dispatch is undertaken.
The key purpose of this role will be to work as part of a dedicated team to deliver customer service excellence. To contribute to the running of a safe, punctual and reliable railway. Delivering and overseeing as the lead assessor, the safety critical assessments at Harlow Town in line with the GA Train Dispatch Competency Management System. You will support, mentor and train new starters in line with the company values and safety expectations of the new starters as the post requires.
This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week. The salary for this role is £27,499. This is also a Relief position so you will be entitled to an annual relief allowance of £4,912. The working hours include Monday to Saturday, mainly earlies and lates but could include night shifts if required with advanced planning.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a colleague who cares highly about safety and is used to working to high standards with a meticulous attention to detail. You should either be currently competent in Train Dispatch or have been in the past. The ideal colleague should either be qualified or working towards becoming qualified as an A1 Assessor.
