An exciting opportunity has arisen for 5 Controllers in our Rail Replacement Team, coordinating and managing the rail replacement activities.

Due to the very nature of this work being during times of disruption, the position is offered on a zero hours contract basis. We offer a range of different shift patterns, often at weekends, at different locations across London. 

The Role:

• To plan and manage replacement buses and coaches to provide journeys to a timetable when the rail service is disrupted due to pre-planned and emergency requirements
• Responsible for the quality of our customer-focused response
• To provide efficient and effective administrative support
• Work effectively with external suppliers and colleagues
• Have a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times, including a duty to report unsafe acts or omissions to safety
• To undertake any other duties commensurate with the role

The Candidate:

• An individual who can develop effective working relations with suppliers and colleagues
• Can handle high pressure situations in a calm, professional and logical manner
• It will be desirable if applicants can demonstrate previous experience administering logistics or passenger transport
• The posts involve shift-working on a rota basis covering Middle and Late shift patterns
