We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic and engaging Learning & Development Training Officer on an 18-month fixed term contract, this role is pivotal to our Induction project.

We are looking for an innovative, self-starting individual with a passion for creating engaging and transferable learning interventions.

This role could be for you if you can:

• Create engaging training content through a mix blended online, e-learning and classroom formats
• Assist in the company’s Core Management training, creating a fun and engaging program that translates back into work challenges.
• Take ownership to ensure a high completion rate.
• Conduct transferable skills gaps analysis after 3 months
• Act as our master trainer for subjects that we can run in-house
• Take a leading role in apprenticeship and work experience activities, coordinating across the business.

The candidate: 

• IT literate, specifically strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrable experience of creating engaging training content, online and face to face.
• Sound knowledge and experience of apprenticeships levy and external awarding bodies.
• Previous experience running and delivering virtual training events
• Experience in measuring impact
• Strong project skills
• Experience of modern learning methodologies
• Proactive with strong influencing skills
• Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (with Learning & Development) or (C/MIPD)
• A qualified Insights trainer would be desirable
