Our Engineering team is undergoing an exciting transformation programme with the replacement of the entire fleet of trains and we want to hear from an experienced Engineering Technical Manager who has the passion to lead the technical teams and deputies for the head of engineering services & professional head of engineering.

An outstanding Chartered Engineer, you will bring depth and experience to the engineering team with your knowledge and expertise within Traction & Rolling Stock (T&RS), fleet modification / engineering change, maintenance programmes and software integrity and assurance will see you deliver a step change in the reliability of our trains to help improve the journeys for our customer.

Developing, implement and maintain fleet policies and associated standards for T&RS, whilst ensuring Safety and Quality is given the highest regard in a cost effective manner.

You will lead the engineering team in developing strategies and plans to improve reliability, assuring safety and reducing cost. Advise on production facilities, maintenance standards and constantly monitoring and analysing fleet reliability.
