Our Operations team are responsible for over 800 drivers across our network, and as a driver manager you will lead a team of drivers/shunters to deliver consistently high standards of train operation. Other key deliverables will be to ensure compliance with Greater Anglia route, traction, rules and regulations and safety knowledge for your driver team through recognised measurement and monitoring of competence.

Actively participate and contribute to performance improvement of the train service, as well as lead on project outputs and workstreams associated to Cambridge Carriage Sidings redevelopment. Contribute to the development of staff briefing, developing and delivering a robust system of ‘all staff’ ‘every time’; promoting inclusiveness and robust feedback principles.

As an experienced Driver Manager, you will have a solid understanding of Railway Operating Rules, Procedures and arrangements. You will understand control management, service delivery, recovery, and be incident, accident investigation trained and rostering principle’s and compilation.
