We are currently recruiting for a Carriage Cleaner at our Tyseley Depot to join us on a full time permanent basis.  The role will be on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week working nights which will include shift allowances.

Salary: £19,544 + Shift allowance will be allocated per contract T&C's.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a contracted day which takes the hours to 45 hours per week and night work will be involved.

In this role you will be expected to work independently or in a group in order to carry out the cleaning of our trains. This is a vital role to ensure our train environment is to the correct standard required by our customers. Duties will include carrying out designated cleaning duties in accordance with cleaning procedures and ensuring compliance and procedures are upheld. 

Duties include:

• Use of specialist cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Delegated cleaning duties in accordance with agreed procedures
• Cleaning both interior and exterior of trains to a high standard
• Operating the mechanical wash plant as required
• Ensuring the safe disposal of rubbish
• Dealing with bio hazards as per local instructions
• Complying with Rule Book and other instructions and standards
• Ensuring cleaning materials and supplies are stored in accordance with COSHH regulations
• Ensuring that all accidents and incidents are correctly reported
