Train Dispatcher - Customer Service Level 3

We have an exciting opportunity for a Train Dispatcher to join the team at Shenfield Station in a Full Time Role.

Role and Accountability

The post holder will be required to cover train dispatch, providing a safe and punctual service. As well as exceeding customer expectations at all times, the post has added supervisory responsibilities, so the right candidate will be expected to possess the skills to supervise.

The post holder will work an average 35 hours weekly on early, late and night turns that finish at 6am.

Experience, knowledge and Qualifications Required

You will have a high level of professionalism, a positive attitude, and be pro-active, friendly and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role. You will remain calm under pressure, show integrity, and be flexible and adaptable to change.

Previous experience dispatching trains will be highly regarded.

This is a safety critical role and you will be responsible for the safe dispatch of our trains. A medical will be required upon a successful interview.
