You don’t need previous experience within the industry. If you drive and have a full UK driving licence, a career as a Bus Driver with Abellio London Bus means that we will provide you with training to become a fully qualified PCV licence holder.

The role will be great for those new to the transport industry but equally rewarding for those looking to diversify  from other areas such as Private Hire and Delivery driving.


 To be considered for a Trainee Driver role you must: 

  • Hold a full manual UK current driving licence 
  • Have 1 year minimum driving experience in the UK
  • Have passion for great customer service
  • Have a professional attitude to health and safety
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be flexible, as we operate shifts, working any 5 days out of 7, over a minimum 38.00 hour working week
