VITA Advisor

We have an excellent opportunity to join the customer service team at Norwich as a VITA (Train Station Audio Connection) Advisor.

Role and Accountability:

An opportunity exists to join our Norwich station office based team. Our team help customers using ticket machines on the whole Greater Anglia network via audio connection.  You will need to be patient and customer focussed as we get asked lots of different questions.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required:

Training is provided - you just need to have a good telephone manner. Office based experience is preferential.

The department is open 7 days a week, and when working overnight this attracts an additional payment per shift.

You will have a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and be pro-active, friendly and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role. You will remain calm under pressure, show integrity, be flexible and adaptable to change. You will be knowledgeable about new technology such as smart phones and the internet and be comfortable showing customers how to use these in relation to train tickets.
