West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to join the Commercial Team based at our Tyseley Depot.  This is a fantastic time to join West Midlands Trains. We operate services in and around the West Midlands, now called West Midlands Railway (WMR) and services from the North West to London, now called London Northwestern Railway (LNR).

As Property Manager responsible for Depots you will manage property and facilities maintenance activities at property locations within the West Midland Trains franchise agreement where West Midlands Trains are responsible for the upkeep of the accommodation and services.  Responsibilities will include ensuring that defects are effectively resolved and that planned maintenance programmes are undertaken, managing landlord maintenance issues, identify and develop future work programmes.  You will manage a team of Technicians and contractors to fulfil the key job purpose deliverables and liaise and escalate as appropriate with line management and stakeholders to minimise risk and business disruption.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Experience of facilities or maintenance management working within a building and plant management environment

Experience of managing a multi-skilled team of maintenance staff to complete planned and reactive repairs
Experience of utilising or managing CAFM systems to manage facilities or maintenance performance. Demonstrating improvements that have exceeded KPI’s. Experience of managing track maintenance contracts and remedial works
Minimum of IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
Ideally qualified to Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in a building maintenance or engineering related discipline.
