West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join the Control team based at Tyseley on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

Purpose of the Role:

  • To be a focal point for the compliance of West Midlands Trains with its Maintenance Policy including Engineering standards, maintenance documentation, Railway Group Standards and applicable legislation.
  • To monitor and report on the safety / maintenance and compliance / performance of the West Midland Trains fleet and actions taken to mitigate risk.
  • To lead the audit of all aspects of West Midlands Trains fleet maintenance compliance, both in-house and by Suppliers, to ensure conformance with the West midlands Railway Safety Certificate and associated group standards, quality and safety critical processes and systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Production Delivery Manager.
  • Responsible for compliance reviews and updates of Engineering Standards and Vehicle Maintenance Instructions inclusive of documentation compliance.
  • Responsible for production of the periodic Compliance Report for submission to depot Management.
  • Responsible for assisting in review and update of the Engineering Quality System certified to ISO 9001, including appropriate procedures and processes and managing the compliance of this standard.
