We have an exciting new position of a Lead Driver Manager who will support our Senior Resource & Operations Manager in the delivery, leadership and management of a team of Driver Managers.  The role will be a full-time position (37 hours) based in Bletchley.

You will provide motivation and support to the Driver Managers who are responsible for the management and competency assessments of our train drivers and ensure they have the full competency to carry out their role in full.  Along with the Senior Resource and Operations Manager you will agree business and performance targets and develop action plans to deliver and implement into the team.  You will be responsible to ensure these are cascaded to the managers and continuously measure and review.

As you will need to ensure competence assessments of all staff is fully undertaken we will require considerable experience of driving on Network Rail infrastructure and have had your competence gained or continued within the previous 5 years.  We would also require all applicants to give their consent to disclosure any previous employment and safety performance from previous employers.

The role will involve on call and incident management, command responsibilities & duties (inc TOLO) as required therefore a certain amount of flexibility would be expected in the applicant.
