Customer Service Manager

Are you looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced environment?

We are looking for a new Customer Service Manager to join the team in the Broxbourne area. This role is responsible for the front-line management of our Customer Service Teams. Stations you will be covering will include Cheshunt, Broxbourne, St Margaret’s, Rye House, Ware and Hertford East.

Main Duties:

We are looking for someone who is people focused and an experienced leader, you will be responsible for a group of stations whilst ensuring that your team delivers a safe, punctual and customer-focused railway each day.

You will ensure the delivery of and compliance to all HR business practices which includes, performance management, employee relations and attendance management.

You need a flexible approach to working and able to adapt to changing demands and conditions. You will have a proven track record of line management experience, being people focused with ability to motivate and empower others in order to reach organisational goals. Colleague engagement will be key, and you have a natural flair for making Greater Anglia is a great place to work.

Although the role does not involve shifts, occasional weekend and early morning/late evening work should be expected (potentially at late notice) in addition to an on-call commitment. Regular travel across the Greater Anglia region is also to be expected.

What we are looking for:

You will have a vast amount of experience in delivering customer service, achieving high standards and leading from the front. Have experience and credibility as a Manager, with a proven track record in leading/ managing large teams.

An individual with a flair for leading, managing and developing people. Have a flexible approach to working and able to adapt to changing demands and challenging conditions. Be people focused with the ability to motivate and empower others in order to reach organisational goals.

Experience of working with Trade unions is desirable.
