Customer Services - Train Dispatch

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Service team for a customer service team member at Ipswich Station. As part of a recently awarded long-term franchise, Greater Anglia is investing £1.4bn in new trains, staff facilities and colleague development and in the process transforming the customer journey experience for millions of our customers each day.

Main Duties:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the platform, assisting customers with their travel needs, helping mobility impaired customers have a smooth journey, dealing with disruption, dispatching trains and liaising with drivers and guards to offer great service.

This role will also include, complying with safety regulations, reporting faults and hazards, and liaising with other areas of the business when required.

You will have a high level of professionalism, positive attitude, and be pro-active, friendly, and open when dealing with our customers. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial to this role. You will remain calm under pressure, show integrity, and be flexible and adaptable to change
