West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a number of Technical Project Managers to join our existing Property team based at our head office in Birmingham.

Each Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of their own projects as well as providing technical expertise/knowledge and support to major business projects as part of the wider project team.  As a Property Project Manager you will have a core technical engineering competence in either Electrical, Mechanical, Civils or Telecommunications. In addition, we require applicants who are a qualified Building Surveyor (RICS) and all roles will require project management experience.

In this role you will manage safety of contractors, develop works specifications, review contractor designs and be responsible for ensuring the project meets its quality criteria. The role will be both office based and on site.

The successful candidates will have had experience as either Project Manager, Design Engineer, Asset Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Manager or Site Manager/Supervisor with a demonstrable track record in successful delivery of infrastructure and M&E enhancements and renewals within the Railway infrastructure enviroment.
