Assistant Engineering Access Manager

This exciting and challenging role sits within the Greater Anglia Train Planning team.

Main Duties:

You will be working alongside the Engineering Access Manager assisting with all aspects of negotiating, agreeing, tracking and managing Network Rail's engineering possession plan to ensure the best possible outcome for Greater Anglia and its customers.

Working closing with colleagues at Network Rail this role will be responsible for compiling and maintaining the engineering possession database, ensuring that information contained within it is always accurate and effectively shared to all interested parties within the company. The role will also require the ability to communicate at senior level throughout GA and especially Finance, Customer Service and Rail Replacement colleagues to ensure they are fully briefed on upcoming engineering possessions.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate needs to be well organised with good skills in Excel and Word with a proven track record of compiling and maintaining databases within Excel. Ideally with a good level of railway knowledge and especially Train Planning processes.
