West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a Performance Improvement Manager (Senior Conductor and Stations​) to play an integral part in our new franchise.

The Performance Improvement Manager will work closely with Senior Conductor and Stations colleagues in the delivery of right time performance within the function. They will have a good understanding of associated functional procedures and performance improvement methodologies.

The Performance Improvement Manager will be required to work with colleagues in updating their performance improvement plans and be WMT’s representative at Incident Learning Reviews to identify actions to improve performance delivery. Use existing industry recognised tools and techniques for improving our overall performance and become the key person to embed these tools, techniques and work with the Right Time Railway Manager to embed the ethos of Right Time Railway into the business. The role will also involve working internally within the business and externally with other TOC (inside and outside our group) to find new and exciting approaches to performance improvement whilst being resolute in delivering a Right Time Railway for our customers.
