West Midlands Trains has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales and Marketing to set the marketing strategy for the business, create an annual marketing plan and deliver both through the marketing team. To ensure marketing activity helps West Midlands Trains meet corporate targets whilst adhering to the Company vision and values. To improve relationships with local employers and local authorities to increase rail usage for business and commuter traffic. To identify and capitalise on new business opportunities from major developments (e.g. housing developments and business parks). To lead customer satisfaction research and establish cross-functional working groups to improve satisfaction and meet franchise targets. To work closely with the Head of Business Optimisation and Planning department to identify ways in which to maximise revenue, develop products and deliver a commercially focused train plan To establish the West Midlands Trains brand.
