Material Controller

An opportunity has arisen for a Materials Controller at the Crown Point Engineering Depot in Norwich.

Main Duties:

You will be required to co-ordinate the supply of materials to meet the depot production plan requirements, whilst monitoring and amending system parameters to ensure availability is meeting in line with production needs. You must also maintain and manage supplier relationships with the aim to continuously improve supplier performance.

Produce KPI data to support the materials manager as requested to measure performance and provide administrative support to the materials and stores team as requested by the Materials Manager.

What we are looking for:

You will have experience in material control, possess excellent communication skills and have an appreciation of applying materials management techniques to control inventory.

Have a full understanding of procurement policies and procedures.

Please be aware that this role will be offered on a full time Fixed Term Contract over 2 years.
