We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Shift Manager to join us!

The role of Planning Shift Manager will focus on leading the Planning Delivery Team. The Primary Delivery team are responsible for the overall management of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with the published maintenance intervals and building a plan that meets engineering requirements, by taking into account operational needs and availability requirements.

Central to this role will be establishing and maintaining a maintenance plan, taking into account scheduled maintenance requirements, load and capacity and producing and issuing pre-planned lists of scheduled and unscheduled engineering work (SPP), taking into account planned depot resources, materials and tools.

In addition, you will be expected to directly interface with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the delivery of the SPP and provide liaison to prioritise unscheduled defects arriving on depot, taking into account impact on the operational and engineering maintenance programme.

To be successful in this role you will have a technical based background, ideally qualified to a HNC/HND level in an Engineering related discipline and have 5+ years in a rolling stock background. With the ability to lead a diverse team and continually seek improvements and influence key stakeholders.
