We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage projects across a wide, defined range of categories but with a bias towards FM/Construction

You will be managing the tendering process including responsibility for developing the Wax Digital System, develop, agree with stakeholders and implement Procurement Strategies across defined categories of spend.

You will Identify cost saving opportunities, contract manage commodity supply arrangements, coach and advise contract managers within the business and act as an escalation point for issues.

Other areas of responsibility will be to defined categories, identify procurement synergies across Greater Anglia and within the wider Abellio Group. You will also ensure robust contracts are in place to cover key areas of business risk and review and approve purchase orders over £10K.

An experienced procurement professional you would ideally be MCIPS qualified or working towards it, have a wide range of goods and services experience preferably within Construction or Engineering. You will be a natural with managing internal and external stakeholders. Having experience of contract law, JCT and NEC contracts along with experience in negotiating complex service contracts.
