We have an excellent career opportunity for a Network Performance Delivery Manager based from our Battersea depot.

Reporting to the Performance Director, the key objective of this role is to deliver the highest quality bus services across our network, exceeding company and TfL targets.

You will ensure that vital communication links are maintained with the Performance, Operations and Engineering teams and oversee the outputs of the performance team whilst managing the Performance Managers in line with current strategies, policies and procedures.

You will be results driven, with a desire to promote a safety first culture at all times.

The Role:

  • To ensure that route service control strategies are in place, implemented and reviewed.
  • To ensure that we meet all legal, contractual and company requirements, including safety, mileage and drivers hours.
  • To establish and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • To be fully conversant with Abellio and TfL targets, ensuring that all direct reports fully understand performance requirements.
  • To ensure that direct reports perform to the required standard through monitoring of their performance and identifying training needs through 121 interviews and organising job relating training.

The Candidate:

  • Must be a strong leader who can inspire those around them
  • Should have a good understanding of the road passenger transport sector, including  relevant legal and external regulations and requirements for the operation of passenger carrying vehicles
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external staff. Able to provide clear and concise feedback and guidance to promote staff confidence in decision making.
  • Skilled in strategic thinking and forward planning to avert problems before they occur and solve problems when they occur.
  • Must be experienced in managing and motivating a team to achieve high standards and meet deadlines, be performance focused with the ability to enthuse a team to achieve results.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Must have a flexible approach, and be prepared to work outside normal hours to meet deadlines.
