We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Commercial Development (Airports) to build on the huge success of our Stansted Express route.

This role is responsible for the Commercial Development strategy for our dynamic and fast growing Stansted Express business, our relationship with other London and regional airports, and our B2B and Partnership Development strategy.

Stansted Express is an exciting market which has seen double digit growth in passengers since 2013 in what is a very competitive and dynamic market. With the huge investment in the airport infrastructure by the airport owner, Manchester Airport Group, and our brand new trains which will be introduced by 2019.

You will also assess and refine business initiatives, channels of distribution, customer segments, products and campaigns to monitor Return on investment (ROI). Other areas of responsibilities would be to engage with retail systems team to drive forward digital channels, pre-trip bookings to increase market share and extend our distribution footprint.

You will have a background within Sales & Marketing, be commercially astute with full understanding of P+L, pricing and investment modelling.

A senior practitioner in negotiation and networking who is knowledgeable with CRM, digital strategy, best practice and revenue optimisation through 3rd party and affiliate partnerships.

Degree educated in a business related subject or equivalent with background in industries such as Leisure, Airlines, and Services would be very useful.
