We have an excellent opportunity within the Greater Anglia Operations team based at the London Academy in Stratford for a Driver Trainer & Simulator Manager.

You will help improve the performance for new and existing Train Drivers, providing continuous development, support and feedback, through the use of simulators and in a classroom environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of full rules, traction and safety training for new entrants. You will also manually operate the simulator as required, and build and deliver training packages for simulator operators.

You must have a current UK train driving licence and a good safety of the line record. You will have proven MS Office skills, be motivated, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will be well organized and able to prioritise your workload. You will also need to have managerial experience, along with a high level of knowledge of railway rules and regulations (GE/RT8000). An understanding of non-technical skills is essential. Preferably you will already be an A1 Assessor or currently working towards this qualification.
