An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Norwich Crown Point Depot for a Warranty Manager on a 18 month fixed term contract (with possible extension).

Reporting to the Contracts Manager in the Engineering Department, this post will be responsible for the recovery of all spend on warranted Intercity sets and Diesel Multiple Units. The train fleet is furnished with both component and workmanship warranties and the Warranty Manager will work closely with the Production teams to identify warranty opportunities.

Great communication skills are required, persistence, detailed records and sound negotiation skills advantageous.

The post holder would benefit from knowledge of the train fleet component parts, preferably with an Engineering background. Contractual skills and/or qualifications beneficial.

You will be conversant with rail leases and procurement terms, educated to degree level or equivalent and possess the energy and drive to meet the department budget, both financially and vehicle performance wise.
