Join Our Team as an Shunter based at Cambridge.

The Role  

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient working of all movements and shunting within Cambridge Carriage Sidings and other locations under the instructions of the Carriage Siding Supervisor. You will also be required to operate a “points” panel to control the train movements for washing of trains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Train Crew, Signallers, and other colleagues regarding operations within Cambridge Carriage Siding
  • Use safe radio protocols where appropriate
  • Carry out various duties to maintain standard compliance
  • Ensure security within the Carriage Sidings
  • Maintain a good standard of cleanliness in the Carriage Sidings
