An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Central Duty Manager to be based in within our operations team. 

We’re looking for a passionate & enthusiastic individual with an outstanding personal record and the right attitude to learn the pivotal role of Central Duty Manager.

The successful applicant will assist Abellio London with cost effective allocation and utilisation of drivers and will support staff across all of our six depots. You will provide a first level response at times of service disruption and co-ordinate depot activities to minimise disruption. 

A key part of the position will be to speak with Drivers over the telephone, accurately input coding in Grampian, input data into Excel spreadsheets, reducing lost mileage and provide up to date information to Operations Managers.

The Candidate:

• Must be an excellent team player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude at all times.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Must be computer literate and capable of learning new IT systems.
• Must be able to work on a rota basis ensuring the Control Room is fully functional 24-7.
• Must be highly organised and effectively coordinate tasks to achieve results.
• Must have an outstanding personal record with Abellio and be able to lead by example.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all organisational levels.
